My optimum amount of sleep seems to be about seven to eight hours, so I make sure that?s what I get I don?t know ? I always seem to get about six or seven though I need eight, but I usually get seven Whatever I can grab ? which is usually not enough
2. Is your sleep pattern wildly different at the weekends to how it is during the week?
No, I always get seven to eight hours I tend to sleep longer every weekend I sometimes go to bed later and have a lie in, but not a long one I make sure I catch up for the lack of sleep I?ve had during the week
3. Do you often fall asleep in front of the television and wake up late at night wondering what the time is?
Very rarely ? I think I did it once last year! No, that?s never happened All the time ? I usually wake up in the early hours and then drag myself off to bed Yes it happens from time to time. I watch television to relax and then I nod off
4. Do you have a set time to go to bed each night?
Not really, but I?m generally in bed between ten and eleven on most nights Yes, I?m usually tucked up by eleven with a good book. One chapter and I?m asleep No, I go to bed when I?ve done everything that needs doing No, I just go to bed when I?m tired
5. Do you normally fall asleep very quickly or do you find yourself staying awake for ages?
No, I?m asleep within ten to fifteen minutes of getting in bed Depends what?s on my mind. Normally I?m okay but sometimes I don?t wind down properly Sometimes I?m shattered and I don?t even remember getting in bed. Other times I lay awake for ages I get the occasional bad night but usually I drift off fairly quickly
6. If you have things to do, do you often stay up late so you can get them all done?
No, my bedtime is set in stone! Occasionally, but I try and get to bed around the same time each night All the time Yes I do that, but I never stay up beyond midnight
7. If you get less sleep one night do you try and get an earlier night the next night?
No ? I have too much to do I?d like to but it never happens I try but I normally end up going to bed at the same sort of time as I always do Yes, but it very rarely happens that I get a bad night anyway

Sometimes, but it?s not due to lack of sleep! Occasionally, especially during the afternoon All the time Yes but it?s never bad enough to affect my work

Yes I enjoy getting out at lunchtimes What a nice idea? I do like to but I don?t always get the time Sorry ? don?t have the time?
11. Do you ever take a short nap during the day?
No, never Very rarely ? if I do it?s usually after Christmas dinner! Sometimes if I?m at home, yes Whenever I get the chance, especially on the train home
12. Do you struggle to get up in the mornings?
Yes I hate getting up early No, I get up quite easily. Most of the time I wake up before the alarm goes off Yes ? every day Sometimes but I?m usually okay
